I'd endorse Hendy Kia Salisbury because whilst my transaction was remote (I live 132 miles from the site) I didn't feel at any point I was taking a risk. I received a video tour of the vehicle which addressed any concerns I had.

I'd suggest Hendy Kia Salisbury to a friend because the customer experience was excellent. I was really pleased with Lucy McLaughlin who dealt with me throughout my purchase. She was very knowledgeable, didn't go for the 'big sell' and was incredibly helpful and supportive. My only feedback would be that I think the garage could do a better job of presenting the cars available on the forecourt. I found it difficult to know for certain which cars were for sale as they appeared to be mixed in with customer/emplyee cars. I also didn't feel like there was much of a choice (although I did end up with the one I wanted).

We put a £500 deposit down on an EV6 10days before we wanted to pick up the vehicle and arranged our own finance. It seemed very simple to send an invoice to the finance company for everything except the wheel cover which we took out, and the initial £8000 payment minus the £500 deposit. 3 times the finance company received the incorrect invoice which resulted in me chasing all parties the day before pickup because no one from dealership was keeping me up to date to say they had the funds. The next day we arrived at the time we had arranged 10 days previous only to find that the car hadn't been cleaned and washed for our arrival, indeed the dealership, although I'd spoke to the manager the day before, seemed surprised to see us. We waited 30mins for the car to return from being washed at which point after driving 2.5hrs to get there we were getting frustrated. We were then told that they had no access or couldn't find the V5 document and couldn't tax the vehicle online so I would have to go to the Post Office with a salesman to tax it with a v26 form. After queueing 20mins we were told that the form was incorrectly filled out, after completing another form they informed us upon entering the information that the last owner Postcode was incorrect (Pre-registered car). After the Hendy salesman made a few unsuccessful phone calls we returned to the dealership where my partner was still waiting. I asked to see the manager as this was now the worst new car buying experience we'd ever had. Suddenly the V5 form had been found, and we were now able to tax it online, we had now been at the dealership for almost 2hrs. After dealing with the fact that we weren't told that we couldn't put more than a £1000 on credit when we had stated several times that that is how we were paying the outstanding balance, we now had the keys. We were so desperate to get out of there and start our 2.5hr journey home the handover resulted in being handed the keys and the salesman walking us to the car and being told that the details of the breakdown recover policy would be emailed to us... they weren't, we had to chase it up 3 days later.
I have been lucky enough to buy a few new cars and each time we've driven out of a new car bay in the showroom, I know this was a pre-registered vehicle but it was on the current plate and only had 18miles on it. A new car is most people's second biggest purchase in life and we holing to be made to feel like this is the massive purchase. This however just felt like our custom wasn't needed and once we'd paid a £500 deposit it was a formality. Not having the documents on a desk when we arrive with 10 day's notice is appalling preparation, turning up on time to find the car wasn't prepped. Lack of communications after the £500 deposit was paid. I would recommend people steer clear of this dealership.
